Anke Stern
What convinced you to become part of the hej.build architecture advisory board?
Personal contacts with companies and firms in the construction industry are key to successful work. Working together to shape developments and visions offers great potential for everyone involved. hej.build plays a central connecting role here—I find that valuable and want to actively support it.
What concerns you most at the moment in terms of architecture, interior design, or even building products?
Delivery times and reliable quality of construction products.
In a few words, what is good architecture/interior design for you?
Interior design that touches the senses and transforms spaces into special places.
Is there a current highlight or an all-time favorite project that you would like to tell us about?
All-in-living urban city resorts with HANS-Y and JONN-Y. Our goal was to create places that offer much more than just a temporary home—spaces that combine modern living, working, and relaxation at the highest level. The spacious communal areas—from co-working spaces to a bar and spa to a rooftop terrace with a pool and views over Vienna—promote interaction and quality of life. We are proud to have implemented a concept that combines contemporary living comfort with the pulse of the city – for people who live mobile, sophisticated and future-oriented lives. It was particularly nice to meet a client who shared this vision and gave us the confidence to implement it.
Is there a question you would have liked to ask yourself? What would it be, and what would the answer be?
»Architecture or interior design?«
Innenarchitektur!
