Project focus
At Swissbau 2026, Soprema did not want to define itself through booth size or product volume, but through clarity and a strong point of view. The core question was how to communicate its role as a sustainable system provider and service partner in a way that remains easy to understand, even within a limited footprint. A key priority was highlighting Soprema’s services and the added value they deliver throughout the entire project journey, especially their functional flat roof systems.
The booth needed to speak directly to architects, planners and construction decision-makers, offer orientation, and create space for meaningful conversations. At the same time, the communication before, during and after the fair had to align seamlessly to ensure the presence worked as one coherent experience.
Our approach
The booth concept was developed in two consecutive phases.
Phase 1: Concept, guidelines and communication framework
In the first step, hej.build supported the development of an overarching booth concept. The goal was to define a clear content framework that connects design, messaging and communication.
This resulted in a practical guideline with recommendations for a successful trade fair presence. It became the foundation for the booth concept and for developing concise key messages for communication before, during and after the event. The focus was on clearly positioning Soprema as a full-system provider, emphasizing its advisory strength, and translating complex topics into accessible content for the target audience.
Phase 2: Detailed concept development of key booth elements
Based on the visual guideline developed together, the next step was the detailed concept design of the central booth elements. At the heart of the space was the so-called »Phase Table«, created as the booth’s main communication tool.
The Phase Table connects product and service cycles across the different project stages and makes Soprema’s value contribution visible throughout the entire lifecycle of a building project. In addition, further booth graphics were conceptualized and designed to support and extend this narrative thread.
The goal was a consistent, content-driven and visually clear communication system that provides orientation, supports conversations, and strengthens Soprema’s position as a reliable partner. Instead of isolated product messages, the booth created a holistic picture of systems, services and expertise.
Outcome
The trade fair presence translates Soprema’s promise into a clear spatial and visual structure. The compact island booth uses its footprint to bring key topics together, highlight connections, and put consultation at the center of the experience.
Through the Phase Table and the coordinated graphic elements, Soprema’s role across the full project journey becomes easy to understand. The accompanying communication ensures the booth doesn’t stand alone, but remains connected before and after Swissbau.
»With hej.build, we were able to rethink our content and align it more closely with the architecture and construction audience. The resulting booth stands out clearly from our previous appearances and makes our role as a partner highly visible. We are very happy with the outcome.« — Evelyn Bagdat, Head of Marketing & Communications, Soprema Switzerland
